There are rumors that Adam Scott’s paramedic is Ben Parker, Spider-Man’s doomed uncle, while Emma Roberts plays Mary Parker, Peter’s mother. A key part of Spider-Man’s timeless appeal is his simple origin story and grounded reality, both of which are tarnished by Ezekiel Sims and, potentially, another origin story no one asked for.
